Gulfstream Park

In Fort Lauderdale, Gulfstream Park offers a variety of opportunities, from racing to dining. A top horse racing venue in the United States, Gulfstream Park opened in 1939.

From December through September, it features world-class racing every Wednesday to Sunday. It is suitable for novices and professionals alike. Racing enthusiasts have the option to purchase luxury boxes and private suites in addition to free admission.

At the park, special events include
Breakfast at Gulfstream (December through March), where visitors can enjoy a bottomless breakfast buffet for $10 per person as they watch morning training on the track, listen to guest speakers, and more. Additionally, the Florida Derby takes place at Gulfstream Park every year at the end of March or the beginning of April – the biggest race day of the year in South Florida.

As part of Gulfstream Park’s expansion, the Village at Gulfstream has been added, which provides dining, outdoor shopping, and entertainment opportunities. Among the stores in the mall are Crate & Barrel and Bang & Olufsen, and dining options include Texas De Brazil and Brio Tuscan Grille. You can also find a bowling alley, a casino, and karaoke rooms.
Gulfstream is the first thoroughbred racetrack in North America with a facility of this type.

A 10-mile drive from downtown Fort Lauderdale will take you to Gulfstream Park. Opening time is 10 a.m. 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 8:00 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday through Saturday. Eight o’clock to midnight. The day after Easter.

At Gulfstream Park you can self-park for free, while valet parking is available for $10 to $30 per vehicle. The racetrack, casino, and shops are all within walking distance of the parking area via a complimentary shuttle.
Gulfstream Park recently welcomed many visitors who were impressed with the abundance of entertainment options available, with some even labeling it an “adult dream land.” On-site dining was also praised by many.

One of the few complaints was that the casino could be spruced up, even though criticisms were few and far between. You can learn more about Gulfstream Park and Village at Gulfstream by visiting their websites.
